The earliest evidence of a domesticated dog is expected to be dated back 10,000 BC, but scientist say the first domesticated dog was around 30,000 BC.
The wolf is the ancestor of all dogs. The first was believed to be tamed in the Middle East, but others believed that the first was by Native Americans. Scientists also discovered there was a Roman cemetery with around 200 buried dogs and on one gravestone it said, "To Helena, foster child, soul without comparison, and deserving of praise.” Even to this day dogs are worshiped in America.
